Reo Blue is a Sydney-based painter, working in acrylic. Their work often takes the form of self-protraiture where they step into symbolic characters to explore identity, queerness, and the strange world that exists beneath the surface of everyday life. Reo's paintings blend elements of storytelling, memory and dreamlike atmosphere, inviting the viewers into a world that is both intimate and slightly surreal.

Reo received their BFA from the University of New South Wales in 2021.
